At close to 35 weeks pregnant, I think it is…
So far, it hasn’t been very difficult to go without…
Since having Marlow, I need easy to wear outfits that are comfortable and easy to just throw on and look stylish enough to spend a day out. We don’t get many days out yet, but it’s nice to put on makeup and wear a real outfit every now and then (other than activewear or the sweatpants I bought my freshman year of college that say Abercrombie on the butt) Yes, I still own those, and man was I grateful for them while recovering after having a baby! Days lounging in your PJ’s are nice, but when you’re stuck inside with a baby most days of the week, it’s nice to get out!
So, today we had a brief outing to the mall to get my husband some new shoes and eat lunch at Shake Shack. Perfect little Saturday. This is my go-to casual t-shirt and jeans outfit when I need to get ready quickly, but still want to be comfortable. These are the most comfortable boyfriend jeans in the world. I pretty much wear them on a daily basis, because they’re comfy, forgiving, great for the warmer Arizona weather AND they’re stylish. One Teaspoon does ragged well. Somehow they’re able to distress their denim perfectly. And, add in the varsity tee, a pair of converse and some easy accessories and you’re set for anything! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

There are so many 2016 Fall Fashion Trends that I am SO IN LOVE WITH! Can we say velvet?! Navy is such a versatile color that can honestly be considered a neutral, because it is so easily paired with other colors and appropriate for any season. These pieces represent some of my favorite Fall trends, and these pieces will take you right on through the holidays.
My 2016 Fall Fashion Trend Favorites:
Maternity Fashion is so easy right now. There are SO many options out there for stylish Maternity Clothes. Gone are the days of covering yourself with a dress that could double as a circus tent. We are lucky enough to have jeans available in all of our favorite non-pregnancy brands, styles that are actually STYLISH that don’t look like Maternitywear, and even activewear that will last throughout our entire pregnancy! My mom reminds me everyday that her options were limited to a few dresses she made her self back in the 70’s and 80’s. I will admit that being pregnant these days is a lot easier, and fashion-friendly, than it was back then.
My maternity style has been pretty laid back and easy. I work out at least three days a week, and tend to just wear my maternity activewear on those days. I did have a few events where it was necessary to find a dress or a work-appropriate outfit to wear. I was lucky enough to receive quite a few maternity hand-me-downs from my sister-in-law, but I did manage to (of course) find some great stores that offer fashionable Maternity clothes that won’t break the bank. These are my favorite Maternity Fashion sources, and some of my favorite styles:
1. Asos.com, H&M – My favorites! Fashion-friendly Maternity Styles that won’t break the bank.
2. Old Navy – Great for Maternity Activewear
3. Destination Maternity & Pea in the Pod – Great source for Maternity Jeans and high fashion brands that offer maternity lines.
4. Asos.com, Nordstrom.com – Dresses and Special Event Maternity Clothing
